Aerial photography gets more and more popular cause the fast development of modern UAV, some novices don’t know how to operate a UAV when they get one, today, let’s share some basic knowledge of operating a UAV.
I、 Takeoff and landing
Takeoff are the first operations in the flight process. Although they are simple, but we can’t ignore their importance. Turn on UAV, stay away from the it, unlock the flight control, slowly push the accelerator and wait for the UAV to take off. This is the take-off procedure. Among them, push the accelerator must be slow. This prevents the aircraft from being unable to control due to excessive accelerator .
When landing, you also need to pay attention to the operation process: lower the accelerator to make the aircraft slowly approach the ground; Push the accelerator slightly at a distance of about 5-250cm from the ground to reduce the descent speed; Then lower the accelerator again until the UAV landing on the ground (do not push the accelerator after landing); Then lock the flight control. Compared with take-off, landing is a more complex process, which needs more practice.
During take-off and landing, pay attention to ensuring the stability of the UAV. The swing of the UAV should not be too large, otherwise the propeller may be damaged during landing or take-off.
II、 Lifting and descent
Lifting exercises not only exercise the control of the accelerator, but also help beginners learn to stabilize the flight of the UAV. When practicing, pay attention to the sufficient height of the field, and it is best to operate outdoors.
1.Lifting
The lifting process is rising of UAV with the increase of propeller speed. When practicing the rising operation, it is assumed that the accelerator has been pushed slowly after taking off. At this time, UAV is rising slowly. The more the accelerator is pushed (do not push the accelerator to the highest or close to the highest), the faster of rising speed.
2. Descent exercise
The descent process is just the opposite of the rising. When descending, the speed of the propeller will decrease, and UAV will start to reduce the height due to lack of power. Before starting to practice the descent operation, ensure that the UAV has reached a sufficient height.
III、 Pitch practice
Pitch practice is also the basic operation of flying. Pitch operation is used for forward and backward operation to ensure correct flight of UAV.
1. Dive practice
During the dive operation, the UAV’s head will drop slightly and the tail will rise. The speed of the propeller is the two propellers at the head decreases and the tail increases, and then the force provided by the propeller will have an angle with the horizontal line. In this way, it can not only provide the lift to counteract the gravity, but also provide the forward force for the UAV. At this time, the lift will be reduced, so the UAV will be reduced height, at mean time we can push the accelerator appropriately.
2. Tilt up exercise
The tilt up exercise is similar to the dive operation, except that the rocker needs to be pulled from the middle position to the back. During pulling. The two propellers at the tail of the UAV will slow down and the two propellers at the head will speed up. Then there will be a similar phenomenon to the dive operation, but UAV is back forward. Slowly pull down the rocker, when UAV begins to retreat stop pulling the rocker . Then the UAV will continue to retreat. After a certain distance to retreat, slowly push the rocker until the rocker returns to the middle position and stops pushing. At this time, the aircraft will stop retreating and the upward tilt exercise is completed.
