Shoot by civil aviation flight
The most common method of aerial photography is actually to make a civil aviation flight. For civil aviation aerial photography, you can fly very high, but the restrictions are also large. First of all, it’s better to choose a new plane, because the windows of the new plane will be more transparent and clean.
Secondly, you need a window, preferably in front of the wing, so that your shooting angle can be larger.
If you really want to take a beautiful picture, you’d better calculate the time and light of the flight. Watching the sunrise and sunset on the plane is still very amazing. The light around sunrise and sunset will also make the landscape beautiful.
Helicopter aerial photography
For aerial photography, sometimes the height is too high and the speed is too fast, which may not be a good thing. Helicopter aerial photography can control the altitude and speed in a more ideal range. Many places offer helicopter service. Although the price is not cheap, it is still worth it. Generally, the glass window in front of the helicopter that provides view is very large, so you can observe the beautiful scenery from a large angle, which is also very conducive to shooting. Generally, four people (including the pilot) can sit in a helicopter. If you want to take photos, you must choose to sit in the co pilot. The value of the back is very low. It is best to wear black pants and black long sleeved T-shirts, which can minimize the reflection of people on the glass. Because the helicopter is not very high from the ground, although the speed is not very fast, it is still easier to blur than civil aviation. Therefore, the general shutter speed should be several times higher than the safety shutter, and the aperture should be increased or the ISO should be improved. In fact, earlier afternoon is a good time for aerial photography. At this time, the light is the strongest, which can reduce the pressure of photographing.
Propeller small aircraft
In addition to civil aviation and helicopters, there is also a small propeller aircraft, which can also be aerial photographed. Tinian island in the Northern Mariana Islands of the United States is very close to Saipan, so this small plane is a means of transportation between the two islands. I have the honor to take such a plane. There are only four pilots in an aircraft company. Before boarding the aircraft, you need to take luggage with you and weigh it up to ensure that the aircraft is basically balanced left and right. The propeller plane doesn’t fly fast or high. The windows of the plane can be opened so that you can take photos.
