Any drone will have minor or unforeseeable problems, and when these problems occur, they should be resolved as soon as possible to avoid further losses.
Problem 1: Unable to take off
If you encounter the inability to lift off the ground even when the accelerator is fully pushed, please check the battery level and propeller steering first. If the battery is dead, it cannot fly, and if the propeller or motor is all installed upside down, it cannot fly.
Problem 2: Takeoff roll
This problem is generally affected by several factors and needs to be investigated one by one, including accelerometer, gyroscope, motor installation angle, motor speed, remote control channel value, and propeller rotation.
Problem 3: After the drone control power is turned on, the ground station cannot receive data from the drone
Check if the connection connector is loose or not connected, if the link button of the ground station is clicked, if the serial port is set correctly, if the baud rate of the serial port is set correctly, if the data transmission channels of the ground station and the aircraft are set consistent, and if the GPS data on the aircraft is sent to the flight control. As long as there is a problem in one of the links, communication will not be possible. After checking, reconnect. If the connection is still not possible after checking without any errors, restart the ground station computer and the aircraft system power supply, and communication can generally be connected.
Question 4: Automatic return
At this point, check the battery level first. If the battery level is too low, no one will have the opportunity to return on their own. If the battery is charged but automatically returns, please note that environmental factors may cause the signal transmission between the drone and the remote control to be disconnected, and the drone may activate a loss of control protection and return. Also, is the remote control channel value normal? If there is an error in the channel controlled by the remote control to return, it may also cause the drone to return.
Problem 5: Drones experience prolonged GPS inability to locate
It may be because the GPS antenna is blocked and the GPS is interfered by nearby electromagnetic fields. You need to remove the shield, stay away from the interference source, and place it in an open area to see if it improves.
Additionally, the reasons for this situation may also be due to prolonged GPS power failure, the distance between the local location and the last GPS location being too long, or the microwave power switch being turned on before the aircraft was positioned. You try to turn off the microwave power switch, turn off the system power, and restart the system power every 5 seconds or more to wait for positioning. If the GPS is not positioned at this time, it may be due to a problem with its own performance, and you need to take it to professional drone maintenance personnel for handling.
Problem 6: The body shakes and shakes during flight or hovering
The solution is to check the installation angle of the motor. If the power is not sufficient, a slight deviation in the installation angle of the motor can easily cause this problem, and PID overshoot in flight control can also occur. Please check if the folding arm is fully open and if there is any serious looseness.
Problem 7: Uncontrolled self flight during GPS positioning
If completely out of control, it can be concluded that the compass is severely disturbed, causing the drone to be unable to distinguish its position, and the drone itself will not feel any changes in its position when hovering at a fixed point. At this point, switching to the attitude fixed altitude mode still allows you to regain control and manually fly the drone back.
